Why women must vote?

Looking at the population pyramid for the Sudan, it is important that women and youth vote for the success of this coming election. It is worth mentioning that, about 48% of Sudan's population is female. i.e., out if the 39,154,490 people, 19,080,513 people is female.

As part of SuWEP grant round I project Southern women Group for Peace conducted a workshop covering the issues of election the workshop was held in Juba University the College of Computer Science.

The participants of the workshop were from three towns  Kalakla, Jabrona and Omderman.

Workshop topics :

·         The understanding of Election and the importance for the society.

·         Registration Process.

·         Knowledge about Programmes of the Political Parties.

·         Social Mobilazation for Election.

·         How to vote where and for who-simulation.

·         Local Monitoring of Voting.

·         Problemd related to Election
